South Korea’s Jang Mi-ran clinched her fourth consecutive title at the world weight lifting championships. She set a world record and claimed two gold medals in the women’s super heavyweight division. Her final lift on the clean and jerk was an amazing 412.2 pounds, 2.2 pounds heavier than the record set in the Beijing Olympics, a record she set. Jang was out snatched by Tatiana Kashirina. Tatiana hit 304 pounds, a mere 4 more than Jang. However, Jang did win another gold for her combined total of 712 pounds.
