Calvin Coolidge Senior High School, in Washington D.C., has just named biology and environmental sciences teacher, 29-year-old Natalie Randolph, as the new football coach. The announcement caused quite the ruckus. As far a anyone has been able to find out, Natalie is the first women to coach a high school football team.
ABC reports, “It [the press conference] was delayed nearly two hours so Mayor Adrian Fenty could attend and proclaim “Natalie Randolph Day” in the city.”
Her football experience? She played as a receiver in a women’s football league. In the picture above, she is making the tackle. Congratulations!! There are MANY male coaches who have never played at all and the opposers to her postition should be ashamed. Female Muscle applauds Natalie, and we will cheer for Calvin Coolidge High School in the fall!!
Here is Natalie in her days as an assistant coach for the H.D. Woodson High School football team.
