Commonwealth Games gold medallist Natalie Powell will continue her battle for Olympic qualification in Cuba this weekend.
Powell is one of 10 British judoka are in action this weekend at the 2016 Havana Grand Prix with up to 300 Olympic qualifying points on offer.
The Welsh woman and London 2012 Olympic silver medallist Gemma Gibbons will continue their push for a Rio spot on Sunday in the -78kg section.
Gibbons could make it five Grand Prix medals in a row as she starts her day against Cuba’s Yalennis Castillo with Powell returning from injury against the winner of Mirla Nolberto Labriel and Laia Talarn.
Sarah Adlington (+78kg), Frazer Chamberlain (-90kg), Ben Fletcher (-100kg), Kelly Edwards (-52kg), Ashley McKenzie (-60kg), Megan Fletcher, Patrick Dawson (-73kg) and Owen Livesey (-81kg) are the other British competitors on show.
