The largest bodybuilding forum online is in the mainstream media today – and not for the best of reasons. 19-year-old Florida resident Abraham K. Biggs, who posted on bodybuilding.com under the screen name “CandyJunkie” started a thread saying he would be committing suicide that night and posted a link and invited them to watch the live video on the website Justin.tv.
He went on to post a goodbye post, describing his depression. The video played until the point that authorites were seen entering his room. You can read a news article about it here.. Bodybuilding.com later shut down their forums for a while and removed the thread. This is an extremely sad situation, and sympathies from all of us here at femalemuscle.com go out to the family and friends of Abraham.
