Today, Lindsey Vonn won the women’s World Cup downhill race by half of a second in Lake Louise, Canada. The win was Lindsey’s 13th downhill win and 23rd overall World Cup victory. The American victor crossed the finish line with blood dripping from her lip, from slamming her knee into her face, and a huge smile. Chalk another win up for USA.
