Tracey Greenwood, long time IFBB pro fitness competitor, has made her retirement official. FMG and Hardbody Fitness reported the news earlier today. During an interview about her decision Tracey said:

“Why not? This is the right decision for me. I am at complete peace with it! I could not have asked for a better 10+ years in the NPC/IFBB.” When Hardbody asked if she had any regrets in her highly decorated career and she said, “ZERO. I accomplished everything I wanted to in this sport plus I was one of the best in the world for many years. I made some very good friends and I even have a God daughter because of this sport!! I am the God daughter to Shannon Meteraud’s youngest daughter, Chesnea Bennett.”

Tracey has been placing in the top five at the Olympia since 2003. She is a fan favorite and known for her powerful routines and amazing strength. She will be missed from the stage, but she is not planning on leaving the industry. You will no doubt still see her influence in competitors and shows.
