The sad news via Hardbody that Derek Gates, the husband of reigning IFBB figure Olympia champion Jennifer Gates, passed away suddenly. Jennifer and Derek met while she was in nursing school and are the parents of two young children. Derek’s memorial services will be held later this week in Indianapolis, Indiana.
