Chloe-May Geurts may only be a 16-year-old, who has just finished her junior year at Hawera High School, but she is sought after for her soccer skills. She was selected in the New Zealand under-17 football squad (picture from past year) this year as a superior goal keeper and looks to cement her scout for the 2010 World Cup.
“I’ve always enjoyed football (soccer) and I’m enjoying it even more getting into higher competition,” she said. “I’ve tried other sports, like basketball and touch, but I mainly stick to football.”
