Canada took the podium with silver and bronze at the World Cup in snowboard cross. Dominique Maltais (captured bronze at the 2006 Olympics) and Maelle Ricker (finished just behind Dominique at 2006 Olympics) let the world know just how serious they were about competing at this years Olympics.
“I’m feeling really fired up,” said Maelle (pictured below). “I think that’s really helped get these results.”
“I put so much energy into this,” Dominique (pictured above) told press. “I have a new board too, so my confidence is very high … I’m feeling good right now, I hope it’s going to be like that for the next races.”
