Mia St. John is a lot of things, but looking at her one wouldn’t initially think “now there is a WBC world boxing champion!” Mia may have made a name for herself in the ring but it didn’t stop there. She graced the cover of the Playboy in 1999 with an 11-page celebrity pictorial.
Mia has been signed with Don King and his rival Bob Arum of Top Rank. When Mia was with Top Rank, she opened for all of Oscar De La Hoya’s major fights. Now, the star lives in Mexico and continues to fight and work extensivly with charities. In 2008, she was giving the WBC Goodwill Ambassador Award.
