The Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year, kicks, er I mean ‘swings’ off next week. Serena Williams has a perfect 4-0 record in her appearances at the Aussie Open finals, and is looking to make it 5-0.
Before Serena can claim her title, she will have to ‘match’ the hunger of several women just waiting too dethrone the queen. Among the top of the pack is, French Open champ Svetlana Kuznetsova, U.S. Open runner-up Caroline Wozniacki, Olympic gold medalist Elena Dementieva, seven-time major champion Venus Williams, U.S. Open titlist Kim Clijsters, and her bitter rival, Justine Henin. This will be Justine’s first Grand Slam back from retirement.
Anything Serena touches is powerful and hot. Even her new G2 ad (included below for your viewing pleasure), which I can not flip past when it comes on, is show stopping.
