Maria Carmen Gomez Segura of Mexico made her return to the Arnold stage – this time as a pro. Maria won the heavyweight and overall of last year’s 2008 Arnold Amateur – a win which caused much murmurings as Maria had prior won the IFBB North Americans which qualified her for pro status, but came back as an amateur and competed. It’s great to see Maria on the stage as pro, as she is easily pro level and fit right in and became one of the few Mexicans to be representing their nation on the pro stage. See our photo gallery of Maria at this event here.
