The liquor license for an Ohio business will be suspended for 60 days because two women wrestled topless at a recent “midget wrestling event” as city liquor license ordinances prohibit nudity. “It’s meant to send a message to other businesses in town that this won’t be tolerated,” Mayor Kevin Meade said about the suspension.
Owner Kim Scott said she had a contract for male wrestlers to perform but while she was outside smoking two women in oil wrestled topless, and said she stopped the match immediately. “It was the girls’ first time wrestling. They wrestled in oil and their tops came off. I was outside smoking a cigarette and I stopped it as soon as I came in.” she said.
Scott said she thinks owners of competing bars are complaining about the entertainment she provides because of the business she gets.
