Mary Keitany, 28-years-old, of Kenya just broke the women’s 25 km world record in Berlin. Keitany took 2:20 off the previous world record by running 25 km in 1:19:53. The previous record was 1:22:13, set by Japan’s Mizuki Noguchi (however, that time was a split from the Berlin Marathon). Mary was the 2007 World Half Marathon silver medallist.
