Krissy Chin: Making the most out of life.

I was born and raised in New York to my loving parents- Jane & Kai. I was always extremely active and engaged in sports throughout my childhood. In high school, I was a 3-Varsity athlete and captain earning honors in both basketball and softball. Looking back, I can say that I have always been highly competitive.

I was propelled into health and fitness when both my parents were diagnosed with cancer and they later lost their battle to one of the most awful illnesses in existence today. I then realized how fragile life was & that we are not able to control everything in our lives. However, I was determined to approach life in a positive and upward direction and to eat healthier, to exercise and to help others whenever I am able since these were variables that I could control. To this day I am determined to make both my parents proud and to just make the most out of life.

I have been in practice as a Physical Therapist for 7 years after graduating Valedictorian with the highest GPA ever recorded in the school’s history (3.972/4.0). Alongside my medical career, I have been competing in figure since 2003. I earned my IFBB Pro card at the 2007 Team U/Figure Nationals when winning the Figure D class-talk about a dream come true! 2008 was my rookie season and I just competed in my last show of the 2009 season the Border States Pro show and placed top 3 qualifying me for the 2010 Olympia! 2009 has been a GREAT year for me since I qualified for my 1st Olympia (2009) and for the 2010 Olympia all in the same year!| I have been very blessed in life and for that I am truly grateful. I also have the most amazing, loving and supportive husband. As we journey through life together, I only expect better and bigger things.
