IFBB pro bodybuilder Cathy LeFrancois is from Quebec, Canada. With a sports background including figure skating and speed skating, she switched to bodybuilding where she earned her pro card in 1995 after winning the overall title at the Canada Cup,
Her best achievement as a professional was winning the lightweight class at the 2003 Arnold Classic.
In 2005 she transitioned to figure competitions where her placings were considerably lower than when she competed as a bodybuilder.
To the relief of many of her fans including myself, in late 2006, she switched back to bodybuilding and went on to win the 2008 New York Pro.
