DFAC World Champ Vicky McCann repeated as top choice of greatest female natural bodybuilder in the 2015 Natural Bodybuilding Examiner poll for an unprecedented third time in a row. The veteran UK natural bodybuilder and powerlifter easily trumped the rest of the field of outstanding female athletes with another landslide vote after winning her second DFAC World Championship.

Tied for second place were IFPA/WNBF Champion Kerri Bolen and WNBF/IFPA Champ Robyn Mays. Bolen, 48, capped her already-extraordinary bodybuilding career by capturing the 2015 IFPA Yorton Cup in her farewell competition, but there appears to be no immediate end in sight for Mays who won the 2015 Yorton Cup Pro Physique AND the WNBF Pro World Bodybuilding Championships (HW) at 49 and shows no signs of slowing down.

2013 IFPA Yorton Cup Champion Candice Scott finished third in this year’s poll, but her runner-up finish in the 2015 IFPA Yorton Cup shows that she is still at the top of her game.

WNBF Pro Brenda Rahe placed fourth in the poll but added another title to her illustrious career by winning the 2015 WNBF Pro Universe in New York in September. The 5x WNBF World Champion has been a consistent vote-getter in every poll showing that fans appreciate that size isn’t everything and that conditioning and symmetry reign supreme.

Gone but not forgotten, still-undefeated and former Natural Bodybuilding Examiner Poll Champion Patricia Payne finished in fifth place in this year’s poll leaving fans wondering when the queen of natural bodybuilding will return to the stage to defend her throne.

Is Vicky McCann truly the greatest female natural bodybuilder? Clearly a lot of fans think she is. Love her or hate her, she has earned her place in the annals of the sport, and she knows how to get the votes. That’s what polls are for. Can she extend her poll record to four next year, or will fans vote someone else to replace this great champion who stubbornly refuses to relinquish her crown? .
