Toni Marie Geiger #1 Female Judo Athlete in the U.S.

Toni Marie Geiger is the #1 ranked female judo athlete in the U.S. and a member of Team USA. She has her sights on the 2012 Olympics and there isn't a reason in the world why she won't make it. However, she has her work cut out for her, and not just on the mat...U.S. athletes don’t receive government funding so the two-time New Jersey state champion will have to raise the money she needs to train, travel and compete herself. Her fight is one true heart and passion.

Putting Their Arm Where Their Mouth Is

The D.C. Lady Arm Wrestlers (DCLAW) league held their inaugural event as a fundraiser for the House of Ruth, a national nonprofit organization which serves as an advocate for battered women and their children. The league brought eight women in front of an eager crowd to battle out in arm wrestling matches. Each women held a theatrical persona matched with an over the top costume. As each wrestler prepared, onlookers placed bets on their favorite fighters.

Wrestling Blast From the Past

Here is a retro video of two amazing female wrestlers. Liz Short (USOEC) Vs. Katie Kunimoto (Gator WC)- for the 48kg Championship. Katie (pictured in orange above) was one of the first full-time women's wrestling residents at the Olympic Training Center before women's wrestling became an Olmypic sport. She had only been training for two years!

The Happy Warrior is Still Happy

The best fight of the night at the Moosin MMA event was, hands down ,the women's fight: Roxanne Modafferi (left) vs. Tara LaRosa (right). This was their second meeting. A few years back they fought and the judges awarded Tara with the victory. They went head to head in a beat down battle and the judges came out with Roxanne, a.k.a. the Happy Warrior, as the victor.

2010 USA Wrestling World Team Trials Gallery

The 2010 USA Wrestling World Team Trials took place in Council Bluffs, Iowa this year. FemaleMuscle wanted to bring you a gallery of the Women's Freestyle Finals caught on film by John Sachs and Tony Rotundo. The pictures are amazing, but then again, they are of some of the best women wrestlers in the nation!

Jessica Aguilar Completes MMA Tournament Line Up

Bellator Fighting Championships announced Jessica Aguilar as their eighth and final participant for their season three women's 115 lb. tournament. Jessica is ranked in the top ten as a 115 lb. fighter and will be a wonderful addition to a already stellar line up.

2010 US World Team Trials Women's Wrestling Video

The 2010 US World Team Trails for women's wrestling, brought out some amazing wrestlers. The trails were set in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The United States' best competed to see who will represent the country in the 2010 World Championships in Moscow Russia. It will be great to see which wrestlers make it through each of the trials and wind up representing the USA in the World Championships!
