Ava Cowan is back at it, making waves in the fitness industry. Her latest venture is a mini-series on GaspariNutrition.com titled, “The Sport of Figure Featuring Ava Cowan.” Early on, Ava had Hollywood dreams. She even lived in California for a while before eventually settling in Florida as a personal trainer. She will get an opportunity to flex her camera skills in her mini-series. Ava described the piece as:
It’s really my journey back to the NPC. The idea is to let people know who I am as a person and as an athlete because a picture does not come close to talking about what a real person has to go through if they want to do well in the sport.
Part of Ava’s journey led though a life of addiction. She battled with it for a long time and is part of the influence for her move away from the Hollywood lights. In Florida, she had one relapse, but realized that she was worth more than the lonely bottom of that life style. She spent 30-days in rehab and has been clean ever since. She set her sights on a new goal. A goal that has proved to be worth all her while.
