Think you’re hard with your measly bicep curls and 100kg squat? Prepare to cry into your protein shake at the sheer inadequacy of all your hard work.
These gals are the cream of the crop of the bodybuilding and fitness world.
They are the she-hulks – they’re big, bad and buff and they will crush you.
Dana Linn Bailey
Starting off we have Dana Linn Bailey. A professional bodybuilder, Instagram queen and in possession of some of the best shoulders in the business.
Despite looking like she was chiseled out of rock by the Gods themselves Dana is a fairly down to earth gal – although does love a selfie.
But come on, if you had abs and arms like that would you keep them covered up?
This is what you call motivation bitches.
Pauline Nordin
This Sweden-born fitness model fronted the Nordic version of The Biggest Loser and has released a series of gym and diet guides.
She is a real advocate of women lifting weights and getting down and dirty in the gym.
Her vein game is like no other – seriously, you can almost see the blood pumping through her arms.
Iris Kyle
Now we get to the big guns. The No 1 in the world, the biggest most ripped woman out there.
Before haters start hating, yes Iris competes in the Ms Olympia bodybuilding contest which is not drug tested.
That’s not to say she takes steroids – she just doesn’t get tested for them.
Iris has won the Ms Olympia contest 10 times. The male version of the competition – Mr Olympia – was won by Arnold Schwarzenegger seven times.
Su Farrell
Repping the Brits.
Hailing from Devon Su is a chunk of muscle with a fierce eyebrow game and long blonde tresses.
She lives and breathes fitness and is one of the few people out there who can make a beanie and hotpants look like a match made in haute couture heaven.
We just want to grab a hunk of cheddar and drag it along her stomach.
Julia Vins
Face of an angel body of a particularly fine tree-trunk?
The Russians are always in a league of their own – be it surviving on nothing but vodka in arctic temperatures, rampant homophobia, or an unwavering belief in a little bald man.
Julia Vins is no exception. This 19-year-old (yes, she was born in 1996) bills herself as a “pretty powerlifter” or “muscle Barbie”.
She wears a face-full of makeup and is said to eat the the souls of men for breakfast.
Michelle Lewin
Now for a face you’ve surely seen before.
Known as “The Body” it’s Daily Star Online favourite Michelle Lewin.
Michelle doesn’t exactly hate having her photo taken and can usually be spotted with phone firmly in hand in front of a mirror or cavorting in the waves in an eye-poppingly weenie bikini.
She posts, erm, interesting workout videos mainly involving her bottom and a piece of gym machinery not intended for that purpose.
Natalia Trukhina
Another Russian. Another set of steel thighs.
Weighing in at 92kg (14.4 stone) Natalia Trukhina might describe herself as “heavy set”.
She is reportedly open about her use of steroids (well, duh) and has successfully divided the internet on whether it is “acceptable” for a woman to look like this.
We say carry on sister – we’re not going to fight you.
Emma Storey-Gordon
“Education is important but biceps are importanter” is NOT an adage Emma Storey-Gordon lives by.
While being a sponsored athlete and fitness model this gal is also a scientist currently researching diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Friend of the Daily Star Online, Emma rows, runs, lifts and eats a ton of sprouts.
And her abs speak for themselves.
Sarah Robles
So this lady doesn’t have visible abs or veins in her forearms. So WHAT.
Sarah Robles is one of the greatest female weightlifters to have come out of America.
She is also the only woman on this list to have a gold medal.
