36-year-old bodybuilder Giran Jobe was fined £70 [$110 US] in court in Kent, England after his workouts became intolerable to his neighbours. Apparently his grunting as well as the noise when his weights crashed on the floor of his top-floor apartment reached as high as 100 decibels according to monitors installed by the local council.
After Giran received 47 breaches of a noise abatement order, yes that is correct 47 warnings, he was prosecuted in court.
According to news reports, he pledges in future to focus on push-ups.
