The 19-year-old had promised on Facebook to streak if she won the university’s “Big Name On Campus” popularity contest, also known as BNOC.

More than 500 first-year students voted for Caitlin and the politics student stayed true to her word, arriving on campus on her motorbike with just gaffer tape covering her modesty.

Caitlin, originally from Brighton, East Sussex, had no qualms about getting her kit off – but it used to be a different story.

The well-toned bodybuilder was teased in college because cruel students believed she was fat.

She now spends ten hours a week in the gym and is a size eight rather than the size 12 she was aged 14.

She said: “Once I started going to the gym and for runs in the fresh air, all the negative comments began to mute in my head and it made me a more positive and happy person.”

After winning the popularity contest Caitlin told student newspaper The Tab: “I thought I’d say it as it would be funny if I won but I didn’t expect to.”

“And when I did I was shocked.”

“I wasn’t going to let my freshers down.”

“I wanted to prove that if you voted for me I would deliver.”

“And I did. I’ve never laughed so hard at people’s faces as I biked by.”

“But apparently I was already 200 votes up and didn’t need to run naked.”

Caitlin hopes one day to be a civil servant or political advisor but concedes she won’t be advising politicians to follow her campaign strategy.
