Canadian ex-bodybuilder turned figure competitor Emmanuela Pintus is well known for her striking beauty, and dare I say it, cross over appeal to the mainstream.
She entered her first bodybuilding show when she was 17, the Windsor Cup Bodybuilding Championship in 1998. At 5ft 3″ she normally competed at around 110lbs. Emmanuela last competed in bodybuilding in the 2003 CBBF National World Qualifier, and made the figure switch in 2004.
The television station The Score. featured her on a special documentary on women’s bodybuilding a few years ago, which greatly increased her name recognition amongst the ‘general public’.
