If the back is one area of your body that you’d really like to zero in on, the Barbell row is the exercise to do it. Because it is a compound movement, not only are you going to get great activation in the back, but it’ll also work those biceps giving you a much more well-rounded session.
Have a look at this video – and pay particular attention to the back and head positioning. Far too many people will begin to round their back when executing this movement – not something you want.
