A body builder accused of swiping a $2,000 Hermes ashtray and a $10,000 check from the luxury car of a man she’d just met in a nightclub took a plea deal Tuesday in Manhattan court.
Kelly Keiser, 32, copped to disorderly conduct as a violation, not a crime, and agreed to do four days of community service. In exchange, prosecutors will dismiss the grand larceny and possession of stolen property charges against her.
“My client is guilty of nothing other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people,” said defense lawyer Thomas Kenniff.
Keiser and an unnamed woman allegedly swiped the items from victim Grant Gordon’s $150,000 ride April 30.
Gordon and a male pal chatted the ladies up at the trendy Manhattan club Lavo and persuaded them to hop into their fancy car and drive to posh Bemelmans Bar in the Carlyle for another round.
After the group finished their drinks, Keiser and her friend bid their farewells and jumped into a cab.
Gordon discovered the missing items and called cops who stopped Keiser’s cab on the Upper East Side. Her friend bolted. The $10,000 check, a utility bill and contracts were allegedly recovered from Keiser’s purse, according to court papers.
