Have you ever heard the name Stephanie Gilmore? How about Kelly Slater? Yup, Kelly is far more recognized in the surfing community for his accomplishments, but Stephanie, a 22-year-old Australian, is arguably more accomplished than Kelly, the undisputed “best surfer of all times.” While the general media has not chosen to give Stephanie the attention she deserves, FemaleMuscle wants you to know who she is and what she’s accomplished.
Stephanie, a third-year surfer won her third World Championship this year. She has dominated the sport in a manor that is rare for any athlete in any sport, and has never been done in surfing to date. In 2007, she became the first to win a world championship in a rookie year on tour.
