Hello. My name is Marcie Simmons. I am a single mom (of a wonderful 6 year old girl) working in sales in my hometown of Chicago. My dream is to earn my pro card in bodybuilding. For the last several years, I’ve worked toward this goal entirely on my own. I recently met with a nationally known bodybuilding coach who was impressed with the level of muscular development I’ve been able to achieve – and he believes that with proper nutrition and conditioning, I could stand on the stage at the Wings Of Strength IFBB National Qualifier.
This is where it gets intense – and I need your help. Every dollar raised will go toward the expenses incurred, such as training with a well-known bodybuilding coach (which is a fantastic opportunity!), food, travel, supplements – everything I need to get to that stage… and realize a dream! I have been inspired by so many people along the way and I would hope to serve as an inspiration to others – most especially to women who wish to achieve their own fitness dreams – or whatever their dreams may be! I want to show the world that dreams can be achieved. Most of all, I want to stand proudly on that stage and show my beautiful daughter what dedication and hard work can accomplish – and that she can do anything she wishes if she sets her mind to it!
