Sarah Davis won the women’s 53kg divisionat the KeepOurTanker.com American Open weightlifting competition in Mobile, AL. Sarah, only three weeks ago, competed in the World Championships in South Korea, placing 16th. She beat her South Korea lifts by 5kg. She put up 72kg (158.7 lbs) in the snatch and 92kg (202.8 lbs) in the clean and jerk to win the American Open. This win adds to three other first place finishes this year: Collegiate Nationals, Senior Nationals and Rodger DeGarmo Invitational. She is looking forward to qualifying for next years World Championships
