Tamiko Shibata,who won her class at the 2008 INBA Natural Olympia, has failed the drug test and been stripped of her title and banned for life by the INBA. Male bodybuilder Augie Cowan also failed the test and received a lifetime ban. I think it’s outstanding to see the firm actions taken by the INBA organisers.
The INBA Olympia is one of the premiere world events for natural bodybuilding, with competitors coming from all over the world to compete.
Tamiko’s test returned a positive test for Letrozole Metabolite, Clenbuterol, and Tamoxifen. Tamiko is a serving member of the US Marines, and has prior competed in military shows.
