In a Wisconsin Snowcross race, there were 21 class of competitors. Even though there was not a specific female class, there were female racers. The race director Scott Biese told press:

“We have some great racers, some great female racers from throughout Wisconsin here. Like you said, it’s dominated by males. But like in any sport, you always have that tomboy out there that wants to duke it out with the boys and they do a fantastic job.”

The girls weren’t bothered by competing with the boys. They are excited to be racing, doing what they love and hope to be trail blazers for the sport. “You know the ultimate goal would actually to be the first women to go the X-games,” 15-year-old Tabitha Bode, rookie snowcross racer, said.
