I really thought I was the only one who noticed the high increase in users ‘flagging’ videos. Seems almost everytime I decide to surf around youtube there are videos flagged and I get the warning page before I can view the video telling me “This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube’s user community“.
This is fine of course and a good policy for actual videos that may not suitable for kids – but for a female bodybuilder posing onstage? A clip of someone doing pushups? Seemed tons of videos that related to female bodybuilding were getting flagged, and ok sure some may not be suitable for kids I don’t mean those – I mean generic workout clips fully clothed.
It was really seeming to me like videos about female fitness/bodybuilding were the ‘flagging victims’ – until I learned that apparently Oprah’s videos on her new youtube channel have been getting flagged a lot.
Yes, that Oprah.
I guess if it’s good enough for Oprah, it’s good enough for me then.
