France’s new first lady, Carla Bruni Sarkozy, has shocked her nation by singing about having 30 lovers on her brand new album, “Comme si de rien n’etait” (“As if nothing had happened”).
Only 30? Quelle disgrace!
But, according to Reuters, the former high fashion model insists her new songs — even the ones mentioning cocaine and heroin — were not inspired by her whirlwind marriage to President Nicolas Sarkozy and were all written before they met. Well, one can only hope.
