It’s on like Donkey Kong! Linda McMahon is officially running full speed ahead in her attempt to remove Christopher Dodd from Washington. From Courant.com:
“I will be in this campaign spending and matching dollar for dollar and spending what it takes to retire Chris Dodd,” McMahon told Republicans gathered in Windsor recently. “The 2010 election is going to be a referendum on whether we continue to support a runaway Washington that is out of control.”
It is speculated that Linda McMahon may spend upwards of $25 million dollars on print and media ads alone. Talk about a flying body block!
Democratic strategist Roy Occhiogrosso had this to say about Linda McMahon’s political venture:
“…it’s fairly hard to imagine someone with that background beating a U.S. senator.”
