What turns a woman on more than wrapping her legs around 100 HP and turning the throttle? Or the feel of wind rushing through her hair at 65 mph? What about the looks of awe as heads turn in amazement at her hard muscular body taking command of the road on 2 wheels?
Thanks to a rather mild winter, motorcycles have been hitting the streets early this year. That’s if they were ever taken off the street to begin with. (Thank you Al Gore for global warming, you are such an amazing humanitarian for all the gifts you’ve given to the world.) But enough about my rant on clowns, back to the topic at hand.
According to Women Riders Now, “Women accounted for 23 percent, or 5.7 million, of the 25 million Americans who rode a motorcycle last year.” That was a 2009 report, I’m confident the numbers continue to climb each year. So in the spirit of women letting their hair down, throwing on the leathers, and wrapping their legs around 500 lbs of steel and chrome, I’ve put together a few pictures that I’ve come across to salute our favorite women on their bikes.
