World female boxing champion Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton (6-1-1) is going for a boxing record during her match-up with Lisa Brown (16-4-3). If Ana wins she will gain a 3rd title in the super bantamweight division. The fight will be Saturday in Ontario, Canada. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds to determine who will take home the currently unclaimed World Boxing Association title.
“She’s very tough, she’s very experienced, and she’s a southpaw,” Ana said of Lisa in a recent interview. “I’ll be going out there to Canada, which is her hometown.”
Ana is hoping to add the World Boding Association title to her World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Association (IBA) female super bantamweight titles. If she is victorious against Lisa on Saturday, she will be the first Filipina to be an undisputed champion by holding all three titles at the same time.
