Tragedy struck an L.A. Fitness Club in Pittsburgh yesterday when a gunman entered an all female Latin aerobics class an opened fire; shooting at least 36 bullets. He killed three women and wounded nine others before committing suicide.
Six patients remain hospitalized, including the aerobics instructor who is pregnant but doctors have said the baby is fine.
Authorities initially had difficulty identifying the victims because they had workout clothes on and weren’t carrying wallets.
The gunman, George Sodini, was said to be an anti social loner who hadn’t had a girlfriend since 1984, and hadn’t slept with a woman in 19 years. Online rumblings of Sodini showed his depression….
“Women just don’t like me. There are 30 million desirable women in the US (my estimate) and I cannot find one. Not one of them finds me attractive Every evening I am alone, and then go to bed alone. I see twenty something couples everywhere. I see a twenty something guy with a nice twentyish young women. I think those years slipped right by for me. Why should I continue another 20+ years alone?”
