Women’s 6 Nations rugby tournament will begin in just over a week and last through March. The teams involved in this yearly battle are: Ireland, Italy, England, Wales, Scotland and France. England is the favorite for the tournament and with a record of having won the past three years, it is little wonder they are so favored. This tournament is used by some teams for a warm up to the World Cup to be held later in the year in England.
Rugby, women’s rugby, is one of few women’s sports that is taken as seriously and respected as much as the men’s counterpart. Gaelick.com even said, “Not only does women’s rugby get desirable space in the rugby magazines but is often mentioned by commentators of the male game, without any punchline.”
