It was announced today that Bodybuilding.com has cancelled it’s 2009 Halloween ball slated for Saturday, Oct 31st, at its supplement distribution warehouse in Idaho. The supplement giant also announced that it’s annual company Christmas party and dance would be cut back this year as well.
In a statement released today, bodybuilding.com CEO Ryan DeLuca states:
“The reality is that our balls are shrinking due to the recent economic downturn. It has been rumored that the FDA’s recent steroid investigation is somehow causing our balls to shrink. This is simply not the case. The FDA’s investigation into our operations has had no impact on the size of our balls.”
An insider source informed Female Muscle that DeLuca’s statement is merely spin.
“In a private meeting with employees, Ryan DeLuca told us that our shrunken balls were due to the steroid investigation. Ryan assured us that our balls would return to their normal side once we distanced ourselves from this whole steroid mess.”
