Say’s who?
Definitely not the truly hardcore competitive women that showed up in South Beach this weekend for the 2011 NPC ? Nationals. Not only did women’s bodybuilding represent well, but so did the new women’s physique division, and figure. We aren’t even going to mention bikini. Puh-leaze, this is a Female MUSCLE site, catering to real athletes, who train with real weight, and that have real muscle. Jiggly butts went out decades ago.
Sorry, so where was I? Oh yeah, a huge number of women turning out for Nationals. So check this out. Here are the number of competitors in each class:

Nationals is famous for turning out good sized classes. Why? Pro-cards!
Each class winner becomes qualified to be an IFBB Professional bodybuilder. That’s 4 new pro’s out of 1 show, compared to the other nationals shows that have one overall and one wildcard winner receiving pro-cards.
As I write this, 48 women are anxiously waiting for Saturday morning to get here, so they can show off their hardwork and see how they stack up with the rest of the competition. We wish all the ladies, who represent female muscle and who aren’t afraid to be different, the best of luck and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top when the dust settles.
Who will be our newest IFBB Pros?
