An IFBB pro bodybuilder known for her great structure and X-frame, Betty Viana was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1971. She started lifting weights when she was 15, and prior to going pro she was a five time Venezuelan Champion.
Betty is one of my personal favorites especially her posing, she is a former professional contemporary dancer and it shows greatly onstage.
From her amg-lite profile: Of course I think that we are coming back to huge and muscular women…Women’s Bodybuilding actually has a lack of Beauty, everybody is more interested in big muscle and huge shape and forget about the feminity. I insist in keeping the feminity, beauty and sex appeal with muscle. It is my way, my shape and I refuse to change it. Maybe I will never be a Ms. Olympia because I will never be as muscular as a man. So I would like to show to everybody that Women’s Bodybuilding can be Beauty. The judges make the rules and we have to walk in this way. You now the meaning of my words. The Judges have to make right decisions. Women’s Bodybuilding today has to keep the principal, Symmetry, Muscular, and Beauty, and other things relate with the sport.
