I was a gymnast for a few years back in middle school and loved being active and having muscle. I loved PE and outdoing the boys! I have always been in pretty good shape, but didn’t really know how to build the body I wanted. I began weight training after my husband introduced me to the fitness world and started teaching me the basics. Since then I have dreamed about competing and becoming part of that world.. but for the first two years I just went when I could and maintained. He tried but I didn’t push myself. I wasn’t very knowledgeable or confident in the weight room until about two years ago.?
This year I finally got a good rhythm down, diet, and made it a commitment. My progress was set back a bit this summer but I am catching back up. I am currently training to put on more mass and would love to compete soon in NPC/IFBB figure or WBFF’s fitness category.
It’s tough with college but it is all I can think about outside the classroom! I will get there soon..
