There has been a panty breakthrough for anyone looking to go three days, odor free, without changing them. The undergarments, called J-ware, were created by textile experts at? a Women’s University in Tokyo. They were tested by Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata during a week long mission where he wore the same pair the entire mission. After detailed analysis, the garment was rendered a success, and he was odor free, which the rest of the crew could also account for. The company will begin to sell the garment on Feb. 20th, but only a limited number, 100 pair (50 Medium and 50 Large) for $116.50 a piece.
Now, this boggles my mind for a few reasons…when would anyone need to go so many days without changing their underwear? Camping? If you are going to be ‘roughing’ it, why would you spend so much on a pair of underwear? Buy a 5-pack of Hanes and burn the pair in the campfire if you don’t wanna cart around dirty drawers. Next problem, they are horrible to look at! Spending that much on a pair of underwear, I would NEVER want anyone to see me in is beyond me! So if no one is seeing them, and I’m not camping…really, whats the point? I know $116 could get me a lot further at Victoria Secret.
