First Bodybuilding Contest: I did a local show, came in 4th Novice, and 1st for best poser. I didn’t know anything about bodybuilding. I ate KFC chicken breast, and drank prune and grapefruit juice the week of the show…. Needless to say, I was in the bathroom constantly.

Recent Contest History: I competed in the Lone Star in 1997 and came in 2nd in the novice middleweight. I was so hurt because i knew and the audince knew that I won. That really cut deep. I took the next year 1998 to prepare for the 1999 South Texas, I was a heavyweight and came in 2nd and 1st in the Masters… Two weeks later I did the Texas State where I took 1st and the overall. That was a wonderful night for me…
I was going to do the 2000 Jr. Nationals, but I was in a car accident and couldn’t train for 6 months. Did the 2001 Jr. Nationals, won 1st in the Heavyweight and overall. Then did the Nationals 2001, 4th Heavyweight.
Major Wins/Career Highlights: Winning the Overall Jr. Nationals, after my car accident meant so much to me… but I also have to say coming in 4th at the Nationals 2001, was awesome too. That was my first Nationals, and I was proud of my accomplishment..
Career Disappointments: Coming in 2nd at the 1997 Lone Star. I was in such good shape, and everyone knew that I won that show. I saw the chick who beat me last year. I was giving out a trophy at one of the local shows, and she came up to me. She even said she knew that I won. She was jokingly telling her friends that she whooped my ass on stage. It was funny because she doesn’t compete anymore.
