Aleksandra Kobielak was born on 24 January 1971. At the age of six, she participated in art gymnastics lessons at the Youth Palace in Gdynia. In 1978 she started attending Primary School No 76 in Gda?sk. While in fifth grade, she received gymnastics training at the Primary School No 44.
The following year she was transferred to the Sports Primary School No 14 in Gdynia and at the same time she became a member of the Cooperative Sports Club “Start”. During this time she won Championship of Poland and Championship of Polish Youth Competition in Art Gymnastics in 1986. She received the first sports class for this achievement. She continued her education at State Secondary School of Art in Gdynia and graduated as an art photography technician.
Between 1987-1994 she continued her gymnastics, dancing and acting in Ekspresja Theatre by Wojciech Misiuro. She played in over 180 performances, including four premieres: “Dead people can dance” (Gdynia 1988), “Dantonczycy” (Gdynia 1989), “Perversion Idols” (Krakow 1991), “College 24” (Chorzow 1992). Aleksandra Kobielak also played in two television performances: “Dead people can dance” and “Deo Egipto”. She took part in many theatre festivals: Theatre under open sky (Leningrad 1989), International Art Festival (Edinburgh 1991), Festival in Spoleto (1992), Festival in Spoleto (Italy 1993), International Festival in Istanbul (Istanbul 1994).
In 1993 she became a student of Physical Education Academy in Gdansk. In August 1997 she started systematic fitness training at bodybuilding gym “Body Club” in Gdansk. Then she met Arkadiusz Fischbach and Piotr Mikolajek – trainer of national gymnastics team who were interested in her abilities. On 4 October 1997 she was accepted on the national fitness team.
Her greatest sports achievement is World Championship titles in fitness in category under 160 cm and open, which she won on 15 October 2000 in Warsaw (Poland). In 1999 and 2000 she received President of Gdansk Prize for eminent sports achievements.
Aleksandra Kobielak works as a choreographer, makeup artist, model, and fashion designer. She produces fashion-shows, promotions and advertising campaigns in cooperation with designers and advertising agencies in Gdansk.
