Dr. Tracy Caldwell Dyson, US astronaut, brought on lookers to tears as she launched off with two Russian cosmonauts. Dr. Cadwell Dyson is a part of the? all-NASA band, in fact she is the lead singer. During the launch, she sang? ‘The Road’ by Garth Brooks. The song is about chasing? dreams regardless of the obstacles.? The song was fitting for she is a perfect example of a women who has chased her dreams and? will be? launching off into new ones.
The Telegraph reported: “Dr Caldwell Dyson and Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Korniyenko blasted off for the International Space Station on a Russian rocket from Russia’s Baikonur cosmodrome in the Kazakh steppe. The mission is the second last by the three-person Soyuz to the ISS before the US space shuttle program is shut down later this year, after which responsibility for travel to the station falls entirely on the Russian rockets.”
