Susan Phearus is suing a local Wisconsin gym for $2 million dollars. The claim? That the workouts she performed in an 8 week span made her look like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“I just wanted to tone up. But the gym’s personal trainer made me do bench presses, squats and bicep curls. He assured me that weight training would not make a woman look like Arnold. But look at me! I’m huge and muscular, and so ewwww!“
A spokesman for the gym denied the accusations.
“Susan Phearus was obviously taking something. Women just don’t grow muscles at that rate unless they are on steroids.”
But lawyers for Susan Phearus aren’t backing down. Attorney Lucy Bluff had this to say about the gym’s denial:
“Women have always feared weight training, and with good reason. It is just plain common sense that a woman who trains with heavy weights will rapidly grow muscle. This is pure negligence on the part of the gym and its staff.”
Sources close to Susan Phearus claim that during the 8 weeks of training, she ate only Special-K cereal, chicken salads, and Diet Coke.
