I was born in 1966 in the town of Cabinas, found in the state of Zulia; which is one of the 23 states in Venezuela. I am the youngest of 9 children (4 brothers and 4 sisters).
I began my career in theater and modeling at an early age. I studied theater at Tecnico Medio en Artes Escenicas in Venezuela. Later in 1989, I began dedicating myself to the sport of bodybuilding.
In 1990 my only son Luis Alcala was born; he is currently 20 years old. In 2000 I married my husband Tomas Garcia and we currently reside happily in Miami Florida.
In 1993 I earned my pro-card in Puerto Rico after winning the overall Iberoamerican Championship which governs athletes from all of Central and South America. I still represent Venezuela, my homeland, during my professional bodybuilding competitions.
Most of my time is spent in the gym training and preparing for contests with my husband. I also work as a personal trainer and prepare other athletes for figure and bodybuilding competitions. I consider myself a very spiritual person. I listen to the Word of God, and have put Him first as I follow Him throughout my life’s journey.
I am a very disciplined person, and dedicate myself wholly to my sport as well as my personal life. I enjoy having friends, but I choose carefully with whom I spend my time. I typically go out with friends once weekly to eat out at the wonderful restaurants of Miami.
I enjoy travelling and spending time with my husband- who is my best friend. I conduct myself as a professional bodybuilder; I do not participate in muscle worship sessions.
