Competition
When Melissa was 17 she entered her first bodybuilding competition and placed first in the Ms. New Hampshire Bodybuilding Championship and went on to the Teenage Nationals in Durham, NC, were she placed 2nd. Switching to figure, she has competed at NPC national level.

Melissa has also competed in Olympic Weightlifting winning the Georgia games in both the Clean & Jerk and Snatch, and placing 3rd at Nationals in the Clean & Jerk lifting double her weight.
