The 2012 Night of Champions took place August 18 with over 20 competitors taking the stage in front of a packed house at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium.

JaVaughn Dill and Sueallen Lottimore were crowned Mr. and Ms. Bermuda, while Ms Lottimore also won the Best Artistic Poser Female title, and Jeftha Miller won the Best Artistic Male Poser title.

Tosca Reno: Taking Back Her Life

When  Tosca Reno turned 40-years old, she was over weight and unhappy. Determined to change her life, she joined the local gym, hopped on a treadmill and took control. Over the next two years, she shed the pounds and developed a physique she was proud of, a physique that placed 5th in the open class at her first show. Her transformation was drastic and so were the changes she made in her life. Tosca wanted to share her journey to help others regain control and reach their dreams. She began writing a column in Oxygen magazine and authored a 10-book series, The Eat-Clean diet.

Now at 49-years-old, she is staring in a documentary/soap, Tosca: Flexing at 49, that has been described as:

An exhilarating and intimate eight-part half-hour series that captures her highs and lows as she struggles to balance her commitment to her family, her work and another cook-book launch with rigorous training and an extreme diet in preparation for the big competition. There will be pain, gain, highs and lows. Will it be all worth it in the end? 

Natalie Pennington Looking to Drill the Competition

Natalie Pennington, 31-years-old, is more than a pretty face, good teeth and IFBB bikini competitor. She is a full time dentist. Raised in Korea by her mom she didn’t grow up playing sports. She spent her youth learning the violin and piano.

“That’s the Asian side. That’s mom taking control,” Natalie said, referring to her years of violin and piano instructions. “It wasn’t by choice, but I appreciate it now.”

Natalie spoke in an interview about balancing her profession with her bikini career.

“My biggest challenge is that some days, I deal with patient management issues, yet in the back of my mind, I know I can’t go home and relax with a glass of wine. You know you have to go to the gym after work. Most girls [I compete with] do not have the stress of the job that I do.”

Natalie hope to one day open a spa/dental practice to unite her two world and offer the dental said the comfort and health awarness the comes with a spa atmosphere. But, until then she will continue to take the IFBB by storm. She won her first national show, turning pro and looks to continue her win streak.
