French-Canadian Sylvia Tremblay picked up her first major NPC title through winning the fitness short class and overall of the 2009 Arnold Amateur. She has been competing since 1997, and has won major titles of other federations such as Fitness America and Fitness Canada.
Quite well known outside of NPC circles, Sylvia was featured in many magazines, and I recall her frequently appearing on the ESPN fitness series several years ago.
A suit designer by trade, she has outfitted some of the top competitors including Adela Garcia and Alicia Marie, and is known to always have fantastic outfits. For the 2009 Arnold, she went Latin, here are some images of her during her fitness routine yesterday from our gallery, click to enlarge:
